🔍 Overview

Around the Room brings the energy of Around the Horn to your Playback Rooms.

It’s a live, game-style format for communities that love debating, laughing, and competing — all in real time.

Use it to host daily discussions, creator panels, or community debates.

Each session moves through rundowns, showdowns, and ends with a declared winner.

🚀 How to access Around the Room

1. Open your Playback Room

   Go to your event and click Studio from the bottom toolbar.

   

2. Select Game Mode

   In the left panel under Stream, choose Game Mode.

   

3. Choose a format

   You’ll see two options:

   • Around the Room – a full-panel debate with points and a final winner

   • Showdown – a 1-on-1 version for quick debates

     Click the ➕ icon to launch either mode.

     

4. Read the in-app overview

   A short pop-up explains how the format works:

   • Segments: Add or reorder topics
   • Point allocation: Host awards or deducts points
   • Showdown: Final head-to-head
   • Declaring a winner: End the game when ready

1. Set up your game

After selecting Around the Room, you’ll see the setup screen where you configure your session before going live

• Host – Runs the show. Awards points, advances through segments, and declares the winner.
