Unless you have permission from a rights holder, the only copyright content you can legally stream on Playback is content that Playback has direct rights for. Today Playback has NBA broadcast rights via NBA League Pass. You can stream NBA broadcasts using Playback’s NBA streaming feature (see Stream NBA games) but you can’t screen share a full broadcast because there is no way for Playback to protect the rights holder and ensure that their broadcast will only be visible to subscribers.

If a rights holder determines that you are sharing copyright content without their permission and asks Playback to take the content down, we will issue you a warning and ask you to remove the content. Repeated offenses may result in a platform ban.

In some cases rights holders encourage sharing of their content when it’s deemed promotional and does not cannibalize their business, e.g. playing a short clip or watching highlights. Playback will always defer to the rights holders on how they want their media shared.
