Viewers can pause and rewind live Playback streams by switching to Rewind Mode.
Live Mode streams have zero delay so participants can interact live with no latency like a video chat. Viewers can switch to Rewind Mode to get a classic buffered live stream and access playback controls like pause and rewind.

Buffering works by preloading portions of the video, adding 5-10 seconds of delay compared to Live Mode. Buffered video streaming is the standard format on traditional live streaming video apps.

If you’re in a Playback room that is streaming a live sports broadcast like an NBA or MLB game, switch to Rewind Mode to pause and sync up the Playback room with your TV or wherever else you’re watching the game.
If you have access to watch NBA or MLB broadcasts on Playback, you will need to be in Live Mode to watch them in the Playback room. You can switch to Rewind Mode if you want to rewind the live stream but it will not show the TV broadcast and will instead show the Gamecast with the live score and game clock. TV broadcasts are coming soon for viewers watching on delay.
