During a live stream, you can feature a chat message in your stream to focus the conversation around a specific message and give your community members special attention.
To spotlight a message, your room needs to be live. Anyone with the Creator role in your room can spotlight a chat message by selecting a message in chat and tapping the Spotlight button.
Spotlight messages will show up next the stream until the spotlight is removed by a creator.
You can react to a spotlit message with emojis inline or tap it to open the message thread in your chat window.
If you’re simulcasting your stream to other platforms or posting clips to your social channels, spotlit messages are a great way to show off the activity in your chat and encourage your social audience to come to Playback.
We’ll also include the style of different messages like Power Chats or Polls so viewers can see the rich functionality of chat on Playback.
